Biography
Alla Vyacheslavovna Lagoda was born on February 6, 1937 in Kiev. In 1955, she graduated from the Kiev Choreographic School. Her teachers were G. A. Berezova, A. V. Yarygin and others. In 198,1 she graduated from the Moscow Institute of Theater Arts (now the Russian Institute of Theater Arts – GITIS). Having been injured in her youth, she went to study at a university where she studied English. But, since she quickly recovered, she returned to the stage.
In 1955-1981, she performed with a short break as a soloist of the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater (now the Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine). With colleagues from the National Opera she performed in Paris, Monte Carlo, and others. In 1963-1964, she was a soloist in the ballet of the Georgian Opera and Ballet Theater. Z. Paliashvili.
From 1981 to 1992, she worked as the head of the ballet troupe of the theater, since 1992 she is a teacher-choreographer of the ballet troupe of the National Opera of Ukraine. Among her students are laureates and prize-winners of international competitions of ballet dancers performing on stages in Covent Garden (London), the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, the Dresden Opera, the American Ballet Theater and other troupes.

Alla Vyacheslavovna Lagoda at different times performed in the roles: Akulina – “Forest Song” by Skorulsky; Marina – “Poem about the Marina” by Yarovinsky; Aegina, Mehmene Banu; Kilina (“Forest Song” by Skorulsky); Carmen – “Carmen Suite” Bizet-R. K. Shchedrin; Golden Woman – “Symphonic Dances” to the music of S. V. Rachmaninov and others.
